Traditionally, summer starts June 20, 2012. But, if you live in AZ summer has already began. We typically see 5 months of summer; each month hotter than the next. What does that mean to you? It means that if you haven’t already started treating your hair with a little extra TLC, you should do so now.
You must maintain your hair’s moisture to prevent dry fragile hair that is prone to breakage. In the cooler months you may not use products that are hydrating. So, now is a good time to switch out your products. In addition to your product changes, you should consider wearing styles that require little to no heat. The worse thing you can do now is to dry out your hair with the curling iron; as this will cause irreversible damage to your tresses.
