It concerns me that 40% of women are experiencing hair loss. It’s my intention to share with you the relationship between hair loss and lifestyle choices.
Genetics and illness are the only two causes of hair loss that are not self-inflicted. The other 4 causes are bad lifestyle habits. You can choose to make better decisions in diet and stress management that encourages a healthy mind, body, and scalp. Your failure to make better choices in regards to diet, fitness, and stress management can cause severe problems within your body; namely, hair loss. If you are experiencing hair loss it could be an indicator that you have been making some bad lifestyle choices.
Once you identify that you are indeed experiencing hair loss you should then weed out the possible reasons for it. Seek both a medical professional and professional hair care specialist to help you on your road to hair restoration. Be candid with them about your lifestyle so that they can lead you in the right direction to a better you! Use this time to reevaluate your diet choices. Make sure that you are eating a well-balanced diet. Your diet will provide your body with the appropriate amount of nutrients and vitamins that it needs to produce not just healthy hair but overall good health.
The next step is to make sure that your body is getting an adequate amount of physical activity. Exercising helps your body to function properly and could help you release tons of stress. Be sure to consult a physician before starting any routine so that you are sure to do what it is your body needs.
Lastly, be careful to manage your stress in a healthy way. Life is full of surprises and sometimes you are unequipped to handle them. But, if you fail to deal with that which causes you to be uneasy you could possible send your body into shock. Find someone to talk to, pray, journal, do brain puzzles, craft, read, or go out with friends to get away from your thoughts for a while. Use other relaxation techniques that will help calm you down. Then, you must face whatever the issues are so that they don’t loom over you in the future.
If you live a healthy lifestyle you may still experience hair loss. But, you can rest in knowing that you are not adding to the hair loss by making poor choices. I encourage you to live well so that you can experience all that this life has to offer you and keep that beautiful hair of yours.
